How to use your bud, trim or shake?

Make canna butter! You need cannabis flower, oil or butter (the fats allow to bind with the THC) and heat thats it! Now lets get started!!

Decarb the cannabis

Preheat your oven to 240ºF. Place cannabis buds on a non-stick, oven-safe tray. Cover the tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Insert the tray into the oven and set a timer for 30-40 minutes. Trim or shake will require less time. Flip your buds over half way through to make sure nothings burning.

Directions for stove top

  1. Grind the cannabis with a grinder and then get you pan ready on the stove.

  2. Add butter in the sauce pan, allow butter to melt down on a low temperature. Be careful not to burn it.

  3. Once the butter is melted down enough you can now add in your ground flower, shake or trim.

  4. Maintain low heat and let the simmer for a couple hours, stir often to make sure the material on the bottom of the pan does not burn.

  5. Grab a piece of cheese cloth and layer it up to form a filter. Take a rubber band and put it around the top of your jar or Tupperware to secure the cheesecloth as you pour out the mixture. You can also line a metal screened strainer with some cheese cloth for a more stable option.

  6. As you pour the mixture out and filter it, make sure the plant material is still allowing the butter through the cheese cloth. Sometime flower can build up and add weight to your cheese cloth filter, be sure to not allow the plant material to get backed up.

  7. Once its all in your container, put it in the refrigerator and allow it to cool.

  8. Use however you wish. Enjoy!

Directions for slow cooker

  1. Grind your cannabis coarsely with a hand grinder.

  2. Set your slow cooker to low, or somewhere around 160ºF.

  3. Add the butter and ground cannabis. Stir occasionally.

  4. After about 3 hours, turn off the crockpot and wait for the butter to cool.

  5. Strain and place in container.
